RETURN POLICY
Each item is hand-tied and hand-spliced for each individual customer which offers a great attention to detail for each piece we sell. If you receive an item and find there is a problem with the workmanship, please let us know immediately. If you are not using the item for which it was intended it only makes sense that we cannot guarantee the item will work properly.
If you want to use an item in a different way than what it is intended for, please let us know and we may be able to suggest something that will work better. (A common example of this is attaching reins to the side of a halter.) If you're not sure how long your reins should be or what size of halter to order, please let us know and we can offer some suggestions on how to measure.
Please understand that we will not take returns on items that are made to your specifications. All items are made at the time of order just for you. We always ask you to confirm all the details of the order before it is placed. Please be sure of your sizes and other details before ordering. Please don't ask us to bail you out because you ordered the wrong size, don't like the colour, or missed any other important information. (If there is a problem with the workmanship, that’s different. Please see the paragraphs above.)
Will it work for my horse? We get asked this all time and really don't understand why. How could we possibly know if an item will work for your particular horse in your particular situation? There are so many variables that it is simply unreasonable to think we would be able to make any guarantees that a piece of tack will work for you and your horse. And if there is someone out there giving you such guarantees...well, do they know you and your horse really well?? No...then you might want to think twice about that..
A note about metal snaps and hardware. The problem with metal snaps and hardware is that it can break, is known to break. They also get dirty and don't work as well as when they are new. These are not things that we can prevent. No supplier of ours will exchange or give us money back for snaps that break or don't work properly. Because of this, we are not able to replace snaps or metal hardware for any reason. If a snap isn't working like it should we would suggest washing it in warm water to try and loosen any dirt and debris that may have worked it's way into the mechanism. Once dry, add a small drop of oil. That has worked for us on occasion and may work for you as well.
A note about the rope. Rope is not indestructible. It will wear. Horses (and people too!) are hard on things. That's just the way it is. If something has been chewed on by horses, dogs, mice...whatever, or has been pulled in excess or dragged or caught in or under something or whatever other weird thing that might happen please don't ask us to replace it to you free of charge. That's just not fair. We know things can happen but those are not things we have any control over (and maybe you didn't either at the time). We make a product that is tough and, with some care and consideration, will last for a long, long time under normal working conditions. We know, because we put our products to the test every day.
We really don't have a return policy so-to-speak, haven’t really had a need for one. We handle any issues that come up on a one-by-one basis so if you find you are having a problem with an item, please do not hesitate to contact us and explain exactly what is happening and exactly how you are using the item. We will try to come up with a solution that works for everyone because we definitely want you to be happy with any item you receive from us!
Please note that bulk rope purchases cannot be returned for any reason.
